I'm a passionate technologist building for the web since 1994 and mobile since 2003. I work with technologies that are simple, efficient, allow for focus on solving real world problems. Built startups, agencies, led teams with clear visions, pragmatism and empathy.
This is my little space on the internet. I share my thoughts, opinions, a public journal of sorts.
I've recently worked at Shopify leading web and mobile foundations as a Director of Engineering. Built and ran Brewhouse where we built and sold Goodbits. Created and ran the vanruby.org meetup. When I lived in London, I helped co-found GoFreeRange, a leading rails web development agency.
Dad to two lovely children, very lucky to have them.
